“Protecting and Sustaining the Environment for Life”
Everything that surrounds us is defined as the environment. Therefore, the natural resources around us on earth is our environment. It sustains life on the planet and provide abundance of resources. We need to protect and care our environment, because we only have one Earth so, let’s help each other by doing the right ways to save our Mother Earth and to have a clean and safe environment to live in.
It is very essential for our environment to stay clean and life-sustaining. Thus, our environment must be protected for us also, to enjoy it’s existence and to the next generation. Because, without a clean environment, we can not also live peacefully and enjoy our life to the fullest of our own endeavor.
Cleaning the environment reduces pollution, protects unique ecosystems, prevents the extinction of endangered species, and conserves resources, such as water, land, and air. A clean environment ensures the protection of biodiversity and ecosystems, upon which human life and all other life on earth depends.
Here are just some simple ways to protect and care for the environment that both kids and adults can manage to do: Do not litter on the roads or in your neighborhood. Littering causes land, air, and water pollution. We need to take care the plants and plant trees so, that it will beautify our surroundings as well as keep us healthy. Greener surroundings look beautiful and also reduces pollution, to keep us fit and healthy. In other words, we must maintain a clean and healthy environment.
In addition, there are also some different ways to care and protect for our environment; ban the use of plastic bags and disposable products, instead use reusable over single-use, ensure that your household waste is disposed through proper channel (garbages for biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste), consume less because curbing consumption can have a huge impact on the environment, follow the three "R's”, which are the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle so, in this way it is must organize for us to know what are the things that we can still use and recycle, and the things that we can’t use it anymore. To save more money so, that we can just use our money for buying our important and necessary things that we need and also, by doing this way we can not waste our own money just for buying unnecessary and unimportant things. In other words, we must spend our own money wisely in order to help in the protection of our planet earth. Composting is the natural process of recycling organic matter, such as leaves and food scraps, into a valuable fertilizer that can enrich soil and plants. The resulting decomposed matter, which often ends up looking like fertile garden soil, is called compost. Don’t use chemical fertilizers and pesticides, rather go for organic ones, minimize vehicle use as exhaust gases that are the greatest pollutants on air and save forests, because they are the lungs of the environment. Save water and conserve electricity to save energy so, don’t forget to turn off when not in use to save the world.
We all
know that we live, we laugh and sometimes we quarrel to each other, but that’s
a part of life. But, in order for us to be happy and live in an unworried
situation, we must also do our part to be a responsible individual and we must
know how to protect our environment. Thus, in order for us to live a contented and happy life, we must help in the protection, restoration, and implementation
of a clean and safe environment to live in.
