“The Importance of Children’s Rights"

          In this celebration of the 2021 National Children's Month Celebration with the theme, “New Normal Na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan!” (No One is Left Behind under the New Normal: Focus on Children’s Rights)”, it shows that every child in this world has it’s own rights and importance to live and enjoy his or her privileges as a human being. In this celebration, it is also entitles their development, protection, and participation in the new normal setting, thus they are really given an attention to be molded into an individual in order for them to face the challenges of life.                                                                                                                                                       

          The importance of this celebration is that the children are given much importance that they are to be part of the nation’s life, giving their own rights, privileges, and most of all their participation in the development of their skills and knowledge to the new normal setting for the country’s recovery on this pandemic. Thus, every child in this world has their own endeavor to become as an individual who can shine to become a leader and to be molded for the country’s welfare and development.

          COVID-19 Pandemic is a great impact on children’s life and they are really affected, in their education, food, safety and health. In their education, all schools are closed in order to be protected, online classes and modules are given; for them to continue their learnings and to continue their education. Food, safety and health, they must stay at home and they are not allowed to go out. Even inside their houses, they must follow health and government protocols, in order for them not to be infected with the virus because they are prone and their immune system are vulnerable and weak. Thus, for their safety they must be given the right attention and importance for their safety and health.

    Children are really fragile as of now and we must protect them from this deadly virus and help them get shaped to be the future heroes of our country.
