COVID-19 Vaccines: Protection Against The Virus

 

                COVID-19 pandemic which caused by the Coronavirus, which triggered the whole world and made our leaders panic about this illness that also give a great impact on our economy as well. Lockdowns, health and government protocols, restrictions are implemented from barangays, cities and municipalities in order to prevent it’s spread and to minimize death rates among each individual living in a certain community.

               Vaccines are made in less them or above one year in order to suppress and contain it’s spread. Different brands like AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and many others are fast track to be made from the expert neighboring countries who are capable of producing the said vaccines. Vaccines are made for the protection against the spread of this COVID-19 virus. COVID-19 is an illness caused by a coronavirus. Human coronaviruses are common and are typically associated with mild illnesses, similar to the common colds.

                Health protocols and sanitation are implemented; such as washing of hands, use of sanitizers, practice of physical distancing, and most of all the use of face masks. For a better and additional protection, especially to children and teens ages from 5 to 12 are to be vaccinated. One of the questions asked, Is it safe? Does it will cause any detrimental effect? Or is it recommended? All of these questions are answered in a manner that it is beneficial to children and teens.

               The vaccine is safe and effective for children 5 years old and older. Parents/guardians should have their children vaccinated as soon as they are able to. But sometimes it depends on the availability of the vaccines in the area. Parents should be given the full responsibility to address their children and be mindful for the information dissemination with regards to the vaccine. Because there are instances that their children or teens are hesitant to be vaccinated. The vaccines are thoroughly studied and safeness for its contents and for protection to one’s life was really considered. Thus, it must be given to children for proper education, mindful alertness and observation for their safety and protection from the spread of COVID-19 virus.
