  2. I agree that War will not only involves one’s life, but the total community and people in the community. Because we are just one. Sometimes I wonder why there is a war? But always ended up realizing that people are full of desires and greediness that they will do everything to get what they want, even if there's a life involved. During the World war II, Major General Edward P. King Jr. was forced to surrender his troops which consists of 76,000 Filipino soldiers, Chinese and American soldiers to the Japanese. That was forced to hike a 90-mile (about 145 kilometers) hike to Camp O’Donnell in San Fernando. Sadly, due to starvation, dehydration, and diseases; some of the soldiers have died before they could reach their destination camp.
“Bataan Death March” just hearing these words, already gives me goosebumps. I could not imagine how cruel this situation is but i know for a fact that this is inhuman! I think that we should give importance to the "Araw ng Kagitingan" given that our filipino fighters had risk their lives and also to acknowledge their contributions in preserving our sovereignty and depending our national security.
