“A Father’s Love Is Eternal And Without End”

               Occasions, holidays and important events are celebrated to commemorate or to remember these important events to one’s life.

               One of this important celebration in history is the “Father’s Day”. According to some studies which was written, the first Father’s Day was celebrated in America on June 19, 1910, to honor the father of Miss Sonora Smart Dodd. But according to the second story, Father’s Day was celebrated for the first time in America in Fairmont, West Virginia. The date was on July 5, 1908, in memory of the 362 men who died in 1907, explosions at the Fairmont Coal Company mines in Monongah, but it was a one-time commemoration and not an annual holiday. But according to history, Father’s Day was officially recognized as a national holiday in 1972, during President Nixon’s reign in authority. Since then, it was celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June. On this important event, gift-giving and a simple celebration was to be made.

               Father’s Day is a holiday to be celebrated to honor fatherhood and paternal bonds, and also to show the importance, role, and life of “father” in our society. Sometimes they are called as superhero, in the sense that they all do what was to be done just to complete and accomplished everything to provide the needs of the family. They don’t even bother what will happen to their life, but instead they just do what was to make their family happy at the end of each day.

               Father’s Day is really a very important celebration to show honor and respect to our loving, caring and untiring head of the family.
