“Proper Waste Disposal For A Balance Ecology And Environment”

               Waste Management or Proper Waste Disposal is the collection, transportation and disposal of garbage, and other waste products.

               In order to protect our environment and our health, we must be a keen observer and responsible enough to do our part as a living creature in this world. We must adhere the characteristic that if we care for our ecology and environment we must participate in what we called the “3R’s of waste management”. The 3R’s of waste management is of great help to manage and proper disposal of our wastes. Because our waste, if not given any such attention either solid, liquid, and gas, then in the near future, it will be a threaten to us and our environment.

               The 3R’s of Waste Management are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, it is clearly and understood in its layman’s term that with these 3R’s, our waste will be properly managed for a better health and long life. Because they say that “a zero waste environment gives a healthy and productive living.”

               Our government had also implemented such as policy and regulation for the proper Solid Waste Management which is the RA 9003 since the year 2000. Where in this policy provides the framework, institutional mechanisms and mandate to our Local Government Units (LGUs) to achieve 25% reduction target by establishing an integrated solid waste management plan based on the 3R’s.

               Thus, in conclusion for a healthy and productive environment, proper waste disposal and best waste management practices are to be a duty and obligation for every human-being in our society to attain a zero waste for a better living and healthy lifestyle.
