                    As we all know that we are aware of the things that would preserve our environment from it’s destruction due to some sort of activities. Just like drilling or mining, to all this is such kind of destructive activity in which, it will destroy or endanger our environment. Environmentalist scientists, and even an ordinary individual wants to protect our environment. Mining and drilling industries are to blame for some negative impact on our environment. But we must be aware that mining have some benefits to us, and to the whole world. Mining industry provide jobs, raw materials, minerals and metals which give improvement to our economy. They provide to help our technology improve just like the platinum which is a product of mining, used in TV, computer, hybrid cars and life-saving medical devices.                  Waste Management or Proper Waste Disposal is the collection, transportation and disposal of garbage, and other waste products.                In order to protect our environment and our health, we must be a keen observer and responsible enough to do our part as a living creature in this world. We must adhere the characteristic that if we care for our ecology and environment we must participate in what we called the “3R’s of waste management”. The 3R’s of waste management is of great help to manage and proper disposal of our wastes.                  Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, and Months had passed, I considered it as it’s almost accomplished. New Learning… New Beginning, because everyday is a new day to learn, to know, and to remind each and everyone of us that we must have to accomplished our modules. Modules that each and every student like me must have to do, not to leave any unanswered task or question which are to be answered. Even into the extent that you were not able to eat your lunch on time and suffer from late night sleep, just to finished what was to be done. New words, new ideas, and new learning that must to be given attention in order to come up with the right description of the topic or sentence to be constructed.                  Occasions, holidays and important events are celebrated to commemorate or to remember these important events to one’s life.                One of this important celebration in history is the “Father’s Day”. According to some studies which was written, the first Father’s Day was celebrated in America on June 19, 1910, to honor the father of Miss Sonora Smart Dodd. But according to the second story, Father’s Day was celebrated for the first time in America in Fairmont, West Virginia. The date was on July 5, 1908, in memory of the 362 men who died in 1907, explosions at the Fairmont Coal Company mines in Monongah, but it was a one-time commemoration and not an annual holiday.                  The Philippine Independence Day (Araw ng Kasarinlan), also known as “Araw ng Kalayaan”, (“Day of Freedom”). This is an annual national day in the Phillippines observed on June 12, commemorating the declaration of Philippine Independence from Spain in 1898.                On June 5, 1898, Emilio Aguinaldo issued a decree at his house located in what was then known as Cavite El Viejo proclaiming June 12, 1898 as the day of independence. The Philippines was occupied by the Spaniards and got in control to it’s territory and Filipinos became slaves. But, due to the perseverance of the so called “warriors of the land” who wants to gain and free their land from the invaders, they fought for their freedom.                Occasions are celebrated to commemorate an event or to remind of something which is important to one’s life or the society as a whole. We do celebrate festivals, birthdays, anniversaries, and others which made a remarkable or significant events in our life.                In every 2 nd Sunday of May for every year, we also celebrate a very important event for everyone’s life on this earth.
